February 18 2021 Update

It has been another busy Thursday in the Mayor's Office.  After spending literally all day in Zoom meetings yesterday, it has been nice to be a little less tied to the computer!  We had a really good meeting today with our City Hall/Public Safety Building architects to look at some of the key issues at our new complex.  One of the key things we talked about was how to inform and train our employees about the building, the new security features, access and egress, and other building features.  We also talked about potential public art in and around the building, and I am personally quite excited about some of the ideas that are in the works.  We also talked about the mantra we have in other city buildings about keeping it looking new - forever.  It is going to be a great addition to our community, to our downtown, and to our collective workspaces.
