May 26 2020 Update

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day long weekend.  We spent most of our time on an ambitious project in our back yard - lots too much work for a guy of my age.  If you see me having a hard time getting out of a chair the next few days, now you know why!  I am not as young and resilient as I used to be.  :)

CORONAVIRUS STATS

Nationally, the CDC reports 1,662,414 cases with 98,261 fatalities. 

Utah: 8620 cases; 696 hospitalizations; 101 deaths 

Utah County:  1744 cases; 96 hospitalizations; 14 deaths

NEWS YOU CAN USE

• The Utah County Attorney announced today that the two unnamed Utah County businesses who allegedly required sick employees to come into work, infecting others with Covid-19, actually didn't force the employees to come in sick.  
• On the first day of reopening several Salt Lake area malls, residents flocked there - many ignoring social distancing guidance.
• The University of Utah announced plans to have students back on campus in class for the fall semester - with some precautions related to social distancing.
