Happy Wednesday! OK, so I am bummed about both men's and women's basketball at BYU losing the WCC conference championship games to the Gonzaga teams yesterday. Men led by 12 at the half, and ended up losing in the last three minutes of the game. Women led by 1 with less than 1 second left and loss by 1 in a buzzer beater. But there is a good likelihood that both teams will still make the NCAA Tournament so they may live to play another day. I was fortunate enough to be in the stands at the Marriott Center for last year's big men's basketball win against Gonzaga right before the pandemic struck, and it was electric! College sports is big business, and in a year unlike the last one, they contribute big-time to our local economy. Here's hoping that we will have crowds back in the stands at BYU and UVU for spring and fall sports in 2021!
