It is good to be back! Most of my week last week was in Zoom meetings with people involved in the master of public administration program at Southern Utah University. They have applied for reaccreditation with their national association and I was asked to serve as one member of a three person site visit team to learn more about the program and how they match up with the most recent national standards. In one of my meetings with current online students, I was happy to see a familiar face from our city organization! I love that our team members pop up in unexpected places for me. And if anyone is thinking about an online MPA degree, SUU is a really good opportunity.
Also, if you haven't seen the videos yet, the Mayor has given her State of the City report in a series of short videos focused on her four key objectives as the CEO of our city. One of those is highlighted in today's Daily Update. I hope you will take the time to watch these videos and get a flavor for what our city leadership is doing and what is important to the Mayor as we move forward.
