March 24, 2021 Update

It has been a bit of a quieter day today.  Still several meetings but I actually had some non-meeting time today, which is an increased rarity.  It is also the week of the Utah Municipal Power Agency member meetings, and Mayor Kaufusi, Travis Ball and John Borget, among others from the City and the Energy Board are attending.  I have often gone to the meetings, but this year it just couldn't come together.

I also spent a fair amount of time today working on agreements associated with the City's and the Airport's involvement with the Provo River Delta Restoration project.  Like most federally initiated projects, there are some good parts and bad parts, and this has been one of the most difficult such projects I have ever worked on in my career.  But we are making some progress, with the hope that we can make this project a net benefit for our community and for the future of water development in our valley.

One last chemistry teacher video from my friend Professor Jeff Macedone.  Where was he when I was taking chemistry at BYU?  Wait - he was probably still in elementary school.  :)

Have a great evening!
