June 15, 2021 Update

Today is the council meeting where we should receive final approval of the FY 2022 city budget.  This as been a monumental effort on the part of so many of our staff members over several months.  Lots of excellent work has been done by the finance team including John Borget, Dan Follett, David Mortensen and Kelsey Zarbock.  Our council staff has also been very heavily engaged on budget issues since earlier this spring.  And the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, as well as the members of the City Council have given many hours of their time and attention to the budget process.  It is always a collaborative effort and one that sets significant policy decisions and defines the levels of our city services to our residents.   Thanks to everyone for your involvement in the budget process.

Today we also say goodbye to Battalion Chief Deb Honeycutt after a 31 year career with Provo Fire and Rescue.  She has been a big part of the department and its leadership - and while we wish her well, she will be missed!
