It has been a bit of a quieter day today. We had a meeting with a local app developer who has put together an app that gives high wind warnings on Utah Lake who is looking for funding to expand and improve the app that has been a "labor of love" for him. We tried to steer him in some good directions, but it is always inspiring for me to see people who just take initiative and find a solution to a community problem. Safety on Utah Lake is a big deal in our community and at least one civic-minded innovator is working on a creative way to address the problem.
