It was great to run into several of our employees today in my moving about the city. I love it when I can connect with you at work! I love working with this team!
One of the highlights of my day was attending a program at the golf course this morning on the beautiful new 15th hole where we announced a renaming of the course! The former East Bay Golf Course will now be called the Timpanogos Golf Club - as it was known back in 1923 when it opened as the first municipal course in Utah County and only the second in the state. The course has been improved and realigned, and even has a lighted 9-hole course, lighting at the driving range and other new amenities - lighting courtesy of our Provo City Power team! You will see a link to the program in the social media posts below. And it was really fun to see Kean Ridd and some of the old regulars at the course. Big shout out to Scott Henderson, Doug Robins, Brett Watson and the Parks and Recreation team who were instrumental in this big upgrade to our golf course!
